Business Analyst

vConstruct, a Pune based Construction Technology company seeks process-oriented individuals for the role of Business Analyst to work on Enterprise Applications in Construction Technology space. The candidate will be the main conduit between the on-site business teams and off-site technology teams. The primary responsibility will be to translate the set of business needs into functional requirements and be the voice of business for the Dev Team.

Responsibilities

• Working closely with the on-site Business Team on understanding specific needs and creating Business Requirements
• Managing, owning & communicating Prioritization, Roadmap & Timelines
• Translating the Business Requirements into Functional Requirements; Writing detailed User Stories in Confluence
• Conducting an Impact Analysis on the existing functionality
• Defining and documenting Acceptance Criteria
• Being the Point of Contact for the Dev Team for any questions related to the Business Requirements
• Translating any technical dependencies & challenges from the Dev Team into business impact and communicating them with the Business Team

Skills and Qualification

• At least 4 -6 years of experience working in Construction domain with excellent understanding of the Business Lifecycle, Value Chain, and relevant Tools & Processes
• Bachelors or Masters Degree with specialization in Computer Science or related field or equivalent.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to write detailed business requirements; work with mock-up tools to draw basic sketches to elaborate on customer journeys and user interfaces
• Knowledge of Agile Development, Scrum is a big plus
• Ability to quickly grasp new requirements and identifying the impact on the existing solution
• General understanding of the technology landscape is a plus
